Birthday Bonanza

Two weeks ago, we celebrated Lydia's 7th birthday and my birthday!  Double birthdays means double the fun. We decided that wasn't enough so we threw in a birthday party on the day between the birthdays. It really was a lot of fun. Roy and I were the only adults in a house literally filled with friends making t-shirts, eating pizza, dancing, doing the limbo, and playing games. We hope that we have convinced the kids on doing a fun family adventure or trip in place of parties next year because as fun as it is to do parties and have friends come celebrate, I like the idea of extra play dates and some extra fun family time.
