UNC Adventure

We spent one Saturday morning on UNC campus exploring the art museum, the science center, and the awesome new spider sculpture.  The big kids even got called up to participate in the science show.

A painting by Robert Freebairn....still not sure how we are related, but that's a different enough last name we are bound to be related :)

When we moved here two summers ago, we stopped at this butterfly bench and took pictures.  When we walked by it the other day, we just had to get the updated pictures.  And Nora is everyone's favorite so she was the prop everyone wanted in their picture :)

Jordan Lake

We made Roy play hooky from work for a couple hours last Friday so we could play at Jordan Lake, which is 20 minutes from our house.  We had a blast swimming, building, racing, splashing, and being together.  It was just what we all needed.

 

  

Sleeping Beauty

Nora is the best.  She really is.  She adjusts to our schedule, she's happy almost the whole day, and she loves our family.  You can see that love in her smile, feel it in her cuddles, and see it in the excited way she kicks her legs when her people get close.  Also, who doesn't love the cute sleeping baby picture...
